As we stand stronger than ever with projects on the Autonomous Vehicle-AV, we are searching for a high-impact Public Relations Manager to join our fast-growing team. This is a pivotal role where you will work closely with the PR Lead for the UK and Ireland to decisively shape and deliver the entire PR and Communications strategy for UK/IRL, directly supporting our ambitious business goals.

You will be responsible for managing specific projects designed to dramatically drive brand awareness and fiercely protect our business reputation by engaging with key media and relevant stakeholders, including consumers and partners. Planning & Execution:

  • Developing and executing the company PR strategies and campaigns to generate brand awareness or promote the company products or services.
  • Content creation: writing and reviewing press releases, blog posts, opinion pieces or briefings.
  • Messaging: work with internal teams to collect data and create or update business messaging.
  • Media relations: Building and maintaining relationships with relevant journalists, editors, influencers to secure press coverage.
  • Thought leadership: identify relevant conferences and events and secure speaking opportunities for relevant stakeholders.
  • Analysis & Reporting: Using available tools and guidelines, analyse and create internal media reports.

To be successful in this role:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of PR experience with minimum 1 year in-house, preferably in consumer technology/ Tech/ Transportation/ Food delivery/ On-demand delivery services.
  • Have a track record of delivering strong corporate and consumer communications campaigns for consumer technology/ Tech/ Transportation/ Food delivery/ On-demand delivery services.
  • Strong media relations capabilities, with contacts in UK and Irish media, particularly consumer technology/ Tech/ Transportation.
  • Enjoy news storytelling and have strong writing skills, including editing, proof‐reading or fact checking.
  • Passionate about media, news stories, social media and current affairs, with a finger on the pulse for trends and stories that can be hijacked.
  • Able to analyse and understand data and turn it into a news story.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Has a collaborative style of working, can be flexible, adaptable and have a willingness to learn from peers and other team members.
  • Has ability to navigate and negotiate around obstacles, you can pivot with ease, highly organised and know how to manage difficult conversations.
  • Has experience in managing senior stakeholders and working in cross-functional teams.
