Intelligencia Training are an established Protective Services apprenticeship training provider with a firm track record and footprint in 4 specialist areas. Delivering rewarding Intelligence Analysis, Counter-Fraud, Anti-Social Behaviour and Youth Justice Apprenticeships within high profile Government agency, public and private sector departments. We are seeking qualified and experienced investigation professionals to join our ever-growing counter-fraud training team.
Role and Responsibilities: The role will involve the delivery of Higher Education programmes to a diverse range of apprentices and learners across the UK; therefore applicants must have an ability to adapt to a variety of sectors, including Law Enforcement, Financial Services and Government Agencies. We are seeking individuals with a proven track record in fraud investigation, both in terms of practical application, but also process and theory. The ideal candidate will also have experience within fraud prevention, deterrence and measurement. As a trainer, you will be using your background to deliver the Counter-Fraud Investigation Apprenticeship Standard to a range of customers involved in fraud related investigations. The right candidate will use their previous experience to deliver an exciting and challenging programme, and therefore it is essential you will have an engaging communication and teaching style. As part of the CF training team you will primarily adopt a remote working model but there will be the need for periodic travel to client sites and the office when required. You will train, coach and assess your cohorts of apprentices throughout their programme and engage regularly with Intelligencia's Administration and Quality Assurance teams.
Experience and Skills: A strong and proven background in serious investigations, specifically around counter-fraud and money laundering. Experience within fraud control, deterrence, measurement and risk. Excellent working knowledge and experience of PACE, CPIA, The Fraud Act, Proceeds of Crime, Bribery Act and the PEACE interviewing model. A law enforcement background is not essential, and we welcome applications from those working in other sectors involved in fraud-based investigations. Previous teaching experience and qualifications are desirable but not essential as internal training and qualification programmes are in place.
Salary: Starting Salary £42,000 + private health care and further commission-based earning opportunities. Increased to £45,000 after 12 months in post in addition to the company wide yearly pay increase.
