A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Senior Business Analyst, with 5+ years’ experience, to join a thriving pensions technology business.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a prominent role in supporting new business and change initiatives for our clients.
The Senior Business Analyst will be required to:
- Lead and mentor other analysts in the business analysis job family including nurturing and encouraging the professional development of junior staff.
- Review work carried out by other business analysts ensuring standards and common practices are adhered to.
- Plan work for yourself and other business analysts with project managers – this work will cover multiple projects.
- Provide the detail for our developers, testers, and external partners to complete their work efficiently and maintain these requirements as they change through the software development cycle by:
- Documenting requirements, validate functional specifications, draft testing approach plans and user acceptance test cases.
- Documenting processes using data flow diagrams, sequence diagrams and entity relationship diagrams.
- Own and deliver business analysis team targets as directed by the BA Manager and Intellica’s Senior Leadership team.
- Assist the sales and client management teams as required.
Essential skills and experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a business analyst
- Experience of significant (billions of lines of data, millions of customer's) data Migrations, including integration of data from multiple sources and formats.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience using SQL Databases.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable skills and experience
- Management experience of up to 5 people.
- BA qualification such as CBAP
- Previous Business Analysis experience within a technology or software environment.
- Experience within the pensions industry.
