The predicted salary is between 28000 - 35000 £ per year.

To work closely with the CFO and senior management team, to support the Intellica Group in delivering accurate real-time financial information by:

  • providing administrative and financial support to management and staff
  • ensuring accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping, invoice processing, and financial record maintenance
  • assisting in continuous development and implementation of financial policies and reports that reflect the company’s ambitions
  • ensuring the timely delivery of financial reports.

As the Junior Accountant you will be required to provide financial support to all Managers for both Intellica Limited and Cosan Consulting as and when needed.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journal entries, and bank statements.
  • Prepare and verify financial documents such as receipts, expense reports, and invoices.
  • Support payroll processing with HR, including data entry.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
  • Assist with financial reporting and analysis, including variance analysis, budget tracking, business units P&Ls, and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
  • Enter and manage data in accounting software and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support audits and resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and other attributes required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and/or minimum Foundation level ACCA, CIMA, ACA.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and basic bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software (Quickbooks, Xero).
  • Attention to detail, organisational skills, and integrity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within teams in the organisation and handle confidential information.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the accounting field.
