As we expand our UK market presence, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager who understands the Financial Services & Insurance landscape and can confidently sell technology, IT services, and digital consulting solutions to senior stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone experienced in building strong client relationships within FSI, whether in sales, partnerships, consulting, or another commercial‑facing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Drive new business growth within the FSI sector by selling Intellias’ IT services, digital engineering, and consulting capabilities.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of financial services and fintech clients across the UK and EU.
- Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities (new‑logo acquisition).
- Build strong relationships with technology, digital, and business leaders across enterprise and mid‑market organisations.
- Partner with delivery, presales, architects, and engineering experts to shape tailored client solutions.
- Grow existing accounts through upsell and cross‑sell initiatives.
- Leverage modern digital and social selling techniques to nurture relationships and build pipeline.
- Keep up to date with trends across digital banking, payments, cloud, data, AI, and modern engineering.
- Deliver against quarterly revenue targets and long‑term commercial goals.
Who We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in business development, client‑facing sales, consulting, or relationship management.
- Experience working with or selling into Financial Services or FinTech organisations.
- Strong understanding of IT services, digital transformation, and technology consulting.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
- Confident navigating complex buying committees in mid‑market and enterprise environments.
- Strong LinkedIn presence and comfortable using digital/social channels to initiate conversations and build pipeline.
- Self‑driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a hybrid/remote setup.
