Regional Field Service Manager
The Field Service Leader is the frontline management role within Intelli-Park's Parking Operations
structure.
You will be a genuine people manager — responsible for a patch of approximately 30
Parking Operatives across UKPC, TPS, and Bank Park entities — whilst remaining a visible, active
presence in the field, issuing PCNs and maintaining site standards when required.
This is not a desk-based role.
You will be out in your patch, knowing your people, knowing your sites,
and making real-time decisions.
You report directly to a Regional Field Service Manager and work
closely with the P&C function on all people matters.
7-day rolling rota. On-call cover on rotation — primary and secondary, once every 6 weeks each. On-call covers night operatives only and is not a full working shift.
Salary
Up to £32,000 depending on experience
Car allowance
£6,000 per annum — paid monthly. No company car provided.
People Management
Your primary responsibility is your people.
You own your patch of approximately 30 operatives and
are accountable for their performance, development, and wellbeing day to day.
- Be the named manager for your operative population — the person they know, trust, and come to
first. - Conduct regular one-to-ones, welfare visits, and return-to-work interviews.
- Carry out probation reviews in line with the Group probationary framework, liaising with P&C
throughout. - Manage absence proactively — monitor patterns, conduct return-to-work meetings, escalate
concerns to P&C. - Identify and record underperformance concerns, working with P&C to agree appropriate action.
- Escalate all formal ER matters (disciplinaries, grievances, capability) to P&C — formal processes are
not conducted independently. - Support new starter onboarding — ensure operatives are equipped, briefed, and supported from
day one. - Be a visible, positive, and motivating presence across your patch at all times.
- Field Operations
- Issue PCNs in line with site guidelines and to expected performance levels when required.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure operatives are patrolling correctly and in accordance with site
regulations. - Attend and patrol new sites, feeding back expectations to the Regional Field Service Manager.
- Ensure your patch rota is maintained and accurate at least 7 days in advance — work with your Ops
Coordinator for reactive cover logistics. - Proactively manage sickness cover and site gaps in real time — your Ops Coordinator supports the
logistics, but accountability sits with you. - Coordinate coverage during special events, liaising with the Regional Field Service Manager for
contingency planning. - Conduct site spot checks and performance reviews in line with agreed timescales.
- Performance & Quality
- Monitor operative PCN production and site performance within your patch, identifying and
addressing issues early. - Review error cancellations and coordinate retraining with the L&D Lead where patterns emerge.
- Focus on reducing cancellations by proactively managing issues and logging corrective actions.
- Analyse coverage and route data to ensure operatives are maximising their patch efficiently.
- Prepare regular patch performance updates for your Regional Field Service Manager.
- Training & Development
- Deliver practical on-patch training to new starters, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
- Act as day-to-day mentor to your operative population.
- Work with the L&D Lead to ensure all operatives complete relevant modules on the virtual training
platform. - Identify training needs within your patch and escalate to the L&D Lead as appropriate
Communication & Administration. - Maintain effective communication with your operatives, Regional Field Service Manager, Ops
Coordinator, and P&C. - Respond to Head Office communications promptly and professionally.
- Complete and submit incident reports in a timely manner.
- Ensure operative uniform is correctly distributed and worn across your patch.
- Manage and distribute equipment to operatives as required.
- Ensure out-of-office is activated and operatives are directed to the correct contact.
