Role Purpose: The Application Scientist is primarily responsible for supporting the success of our customers through engaging with their technical, scientific, and organisational needs, applying domain and machine learning expertise to enable successful project outcomes.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Technical Consultation: Provide expert guidance to support customers in their application of our product Alchemite, ensuring successful project outcomes. Be flexible in approach, applying a wide variety of technical and soft skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Client Engagement: Engage with potential clients to understand their business challenges and requirements. Maintain ongoing communication with potential leads through updates and regular interactions to nurture relationships over time. Advocate for their clients' needs.
- Technical Support: Serve as a technical liaison between clients and internal teams, providing ongoing support throughout the sales cycle and post-sales phase. Create documentation and training materials to enhance client understanding and autonomy.
- Skilled Communicator: Act as the public face of the company by delivering compelling product demonstrations and facilitating multi-day technical training sessions for clients.
- Market Feedback: Gather and analyse feedback from clients and prospects regarding their technical requirements, preferences, and the competitive landscape. Utilise this feedback to inform sales strategies, improve marketing messages, and inform product development.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. Attend industry conferences, subscribe to relevant publications, and participate in advanced training programs to maintain a competitive edge.
