An innovative semiconductor company is expanding its hardware design organisation and is looking Digital Design Team Lead to take a senior role across complex digital IP development. This is a hands on leadership position, combining technical ownership with people management. You will lead a team of experienced design engineers while remaining closely involved in RTL development, design optimisation and the delivery of complex hardware projects. The Principal Design Team Leader will have the opportunity to influence technical direction, engineering processes and future product development, working closely with colleagues across architecture, algorithms, software and verification. Lead, mentor and develop a team of digital design engineers Provide technical leadership across complex ASIC and FPGA development projects Remain hands on with RTL design and contribute to architectural and implementation decisions Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring designs meet performance, quality and schedule requirements Work closely with architecture, verification, software and other engineering disciplines Help shape design methodologies, development processes and engineering best practices Strong commercial experience in RTL design using Verilog and/or SystemVerilog Previous line management or people management experience within an engineering environment Experience leading technical projects and coordinating engineers towards successful delivery This is a chance for a Principal Design Team Leader to join a growing engineering organisation where you can have a significant influence on both the technology and the people behind it.
