Our international client is currently searching for a Staff Photolithography Process Development Engineer to be responsible for developing, optimising, and supporting lithography and e-beam lithography processes for III-V semiconductor and photonic devices. Driving process improvements, new product introduction (NPI), yield enhancement, and manufacturing efficiency in a semiconductor fabrication environment will all be required. Key responsibilities Develop, optimise, and maintain semiconductor manufacturing processes (particularly lithography/e-beam lithography) Improve yield, process capability, cycle time, and reduce scrap using SPC, Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical analysis Qualify and support manufacturing equipment to maximise uptime and capacity Analyse process and equipment data to identify and resolve issues Support NPI, technology transfer, and cross-functional engineering projects Produce technical documentation, procedures, and training materials Troubleshoot process and equipment problems in a cleanroom manufacturing environment Required qualifications & experience Strong Photolithography process knowledge Experience in semiconductor, photonics, MEMS, optoelectronics, silicon photonics, or other advanced manufacturing environments Knowledge of: Statistical Process Control (SPC) Design of Experiments (DOE) Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing Root cause analysis Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) (desirable) Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams HNC/HND or Degree (BSc/MSc/PhD) in Semiconductor Technology, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
