Lead Mechanical Design Engineer I'm working with an innovative technology company developing ruggedised hardware for demanding real-world environments, and they're looking for a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team.
You'll be responsible for: Leading mechanical design from concept through to manufacture Developing robust products for challenging environments Improving product reliability and environmental performance Working across materials, thermal management and sealing Leading prototyping, testing and product validation Championing Df M and Df A Providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams We're looking for someone with: Experience developing complex hardware products in aerospace, defence or similar industries Strong 3D CAD skills — Solid Works, Siemens NX or similar A proven track record taking products from concept through to manufacture Hands-on prototyping and testing experience The ability to lead technical projects and work across multidisciplinary teams If you're a Senior or Lead Mechanical Design Engineer with a background in aerospace, defence or another highly demanding engineering environment, I'd be keen to hear from you.
