My client is a market leading global IoT technology company, with a wide range of hardware & software products/services. They are looking to hire a Principal Software Architect to drive innovation and shape the future of its connected software ecosystem across cloud, desktop, Firmware and mobile platforms. This is a high-impact role focused on improving architectural consistency, modernising legacy systems, and driving scalable IoT solutions across a complex engineering environment. You will work closely with senior management and the relevant technical teams to define technical direction, align technologies, and ensure systems evolve in a scalable and maintainable way. Extensive experience in software engineering, with significant time in architectural roles Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP), ideally across multiple Experience in IoT or software/hardware environments (eg connected devices, telecoms) Familiarity with AI-assisted development approaches This is a hybrid role (3 days per week in the office).
