We're looking for a Head of Business Development who will own the sales engine – from strategy to pipeline to close. This is a seat at the leadership table, and you'll shape how we go to market, how the business grows, and prove exemplary software solutions for the world’s most forward‑thinking companies.
Requirements- 5+ years leading enterprise IT services sales, with a consistent track record as a top performer (ideally at CBDO, Sales Director, or Head of Sales level)
- Proven ability to close high‑value, complex deals and build go‑to‑market strategies from the ground up in a competitive outsourcing market
- Deep knowledge of the IT outsourcing/nearshore industry: service lines, sales cycles, competitive dynamics, and how buyers in different segments evaluate vendors
- Domain expertise in one or more of our verticals: FinTech, Healthcare, Manufacturing, E‑commerce, or Hospitality
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams (sales, marketing, pre‑sales) and strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage, coach, and develop other team members
- Go‑getter attitude with a strong business mindset and “roll‑up the sleeves” approach
- Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages would be an advantage
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Comfortable with travel internationally for strategic meetings and client visits (reasonable frequency)
- Define and execute the growth strategy across new business, existing accounts, and partnerships – with full ownership of the BD function
- Drive new business revenue generation and meeting assigned annual sales quotas consistently
- Carry a personal quota while also leading, coaching, and holding accountable a cross‑functional team (sales, pre‑sales, marketing)
- Develop relationships with key buyers and decision makers at new and or existing clients
- Own forecasting, KPI reporting, and BD budget planning for executive and board visibility
- Shape Intellectsoft’s positioning and messaging in target markets (North America, UK, Europe)
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships, referral channels, and ecosystem relationships
- Preparing sales forecasts and KPIs for organisational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning
- Lead the pre‑sales process with engineering and delivery leads – grounding every proposal in client needs and realistic delivery
- Full ownership – you build the function, set the direction, and have the resources to execute
- Board‑level visibility – membership in the Intellectsoft internal Board Team with direct access to the CEO on strategic decisions
