About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and curious Senior Medical Writer to join a forward-thinking team working at the intersection of evidence synthesis, data interpretation, digital storytelling, and scientific communication. If you love uncovering the story within complex datasets and transforming structured evidence into clear, impactful, and engaging narratives, this role is for you. You’ll collaborate with talented colleagues across data, digital, design, and medical communications to deliver high-quality, insight-driven outputs that elevate evidence communication across healthcare.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading systematic and targeted literature reviews (SLRs/TLRs) and structured evidence projects
- Designing and managing data-extraction frameworks for consistency and accuracy
- Turning complex datasets into clear narratives, infographics, visuals, and digital outputs
- Mentoring junior writers and championing high methodological standards
- Collaborating with data, digital, and design teams on integrated solutions
- Advising clients on effective data communication and evidence interpretation
- Contributing ideas to enhance internal AI, digital tools, and platform innovation
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience conducting SLRs, TLRs, and structured literature reviews
- Strong knowledge of PRISMA, Good Publication Practice, and reference tools (EndNote/Mendeley)
- Excellent data storytelling skills to make complex information accessible and engaging
- Experience working with scientific, digital, or creative teams
- A solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and strategy
- Curiosity for AI, digital tools, and new approaches in medical communication
- Experience with data visualisation or digital storytelling tools
- Experience supporting meta-analyses or RWE projects
- Understanding of ABPI, GDPR, and compliance in med comms
