We’re building an AI-native enterprise platform in the capital markets space. Our MVP is live, early customers are onboard, and we’re now looking for a Founding Engineer to help scale the product into a robust, enterprise-grade platform. This is a high-ownership role working directly with the CTO. You’ll shape architecture, technical direction, and execution from day one.
We’re looking for someone with a strong academic foundation (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar from a leading university) combined with serious hands-on product-building ability. Exceptional builders from any background are encouraged to apply.
What you’ll do:
- Architect and scale a modern AI-first platform
- Build across the stack (TypeScript, React, Node.js, Next.js)
- Design clean data models and production-grade systems
- Integrate LLM APIs and design RAG / agentic workflows
- Ship quickly and pragmatically, using AI tools to maximise output
- Implement security, performance, and reliability best practices
- Strong fundamentals in software engineering and systems thinking
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, early-stage environments
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
- Product mindset — you care about outcomes, not just code
- Built AI-powered workflows in production
- Worked in regulated or enterprise contexts
- Started something yourself
What we offer:
- Competitive salary + meaningful equity
- Real technical ownership
- Small, focused founding team
- Opportunity to build something ambitious from the ground up
If you enjoy hard technical problems, clean architecture, and high standards — we’d love to speak.
