The Opportunity
This is an ideal entry point into consultative B2B sales for a commercially driven graduate who enjoys speaking with people, building relationships, and opening doors into target accounts. As a Graduate SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective customers—researching organisations, running multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn), qualifying interest, and booking meetings. You’ll learn how enterprise buying works, how to run structured discovery, and how to create pipeline in a high-growth environment, with a clear path to promotion into a closing role.
Key Responsibilities
- Building pipeline through outbound prospecting across target industries and accounts (calls, email, LinkedIn, events)
- Researching companies and stakeholders: mapping decision-makers, priorities, initiatives and trigger events
- Writing tailored outreach that resonates with senior business and IT stakeholders
- Handling first conversations: qualifying needs, urgency, stakeholders and next steps
- Booking and confirming high-quality meetings for Account Executives / Sales Leads
- Managing inbound enquiries: fast response, qualification, and routing to the right person
- Maintaining accurate CRM records (activities, notes, stages, next actions, contact/account data)
- Collaborating with Marketing on campaigns, lead lists and messaging improvements
- Tracking performance against activity and pipeline targets, learning what works and iterating
Skills and Experience Required
- Degree educated (any discipline — Business, Economics, Psychology, STEM, Geography, etc.)
- Strong interest in a career in sales / commercial roles, ideally in a consultative B2B environment
- Confident communicator with a professional tone (written and verbal)
- Resilient and comfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection
- Organised and consistent — able to manage daily activity targets and follow-up
- Curious mindset: enjoys asking good questions and learning quickly
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Internship / placement / part-time experience in sales, customer success, consulting, recruitment, hospitality or other customer-facing work
- Interest in SaaS, business transformation, HR tech, workflow platforms or automation
- Familiarity with sales tools (Sales Navigator, HubSpot/Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, etc.)
What’s on Offer
- A structured graduate route into enterprise consultative sales
- Training and coaching from experienced sales leaders
- Clear progression path into Business Development / Account Executive roles
- Hybrid working from a London base (with some Surrey office time)
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
