The Role
You'll play a key role in the development of core platform functionality, working across backend services, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure while collaborating closely with frontend engineers and product teams.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.

- Develop and maintain business‑critical functionality within a service‑oriented and microservices architecture.
- Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and performant.
- Design and optimise SQL and NoSQL database solutions.
- Develop efficient queries and improve application performance through effective data modelling.
- Support data integrity, migrations, and ongoing database optimisation.
- Work with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, and cloud‑hosted databases.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Support containerised applications and modern development workflows.
- Assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
Full Stack Collaboration
- Work alongside frontend developers using React and Next.js.
- Integrate backend services with user‑facing applications.

- Commercial experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
