An exciting opportunity for a Project Accountant to join a high-performing Regulatory and Statutory team within a prestigious financial institution. This hybrid position is uniquely positioned at the intersection of accountancy and data analytics, ideal for a fully qualified accountant with strong technical acumen.
You will play a key role in delivering regulatory and statutory reporting while leveraging Python, SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric to enhance data quality, streamline financial processes, and generate actionable insights.
- Lead and support financial projects across the organisation, contributing both accounting and data expertise.
- Perform complex data cleaning, modelling, and analysis to support reporting accuracy and decision-making.
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualisations using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, IT, and Compliance teams in a multi-functional project environment.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory and statutory submissions with a focus on data integrity and process improvement.
- Translate financial needs into technical data solutions using tools such as SQL and Python.
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
