Company Overview — Intellect Design Arena Ltd

Intellect Design Arena Ltd is a global financial technology leader delivering cloud-native, composable, and intelligent platforms to the world’s most progressive financial institutions. Built on deep domain expertise and design thinking, Intellect’s solutions span core banking, transaction banking, payments, cash management, treasury & capital markets, risk & compliance, wealth management, and AI-driven data platforms. Intellect’s technology ecosystem—powered by eMACH.ai, Purple Fabric, and modular open finance components—enables Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks to modernize legacy landscapes, accelerate digital transformation, and scale securely across geographies. The company serves 300+ financial institutions across 50+ countries, including many global systemically important banks.

About the Role:

We are seeking a high-caliber Salesforce Lead (VP Level) to drive the strategy, execution, and team transformation for a flagship financial services enterprise account. Leading a dynamic technology function of 70+ professionals—spanning architects, developers, solution consultants, administrators, QA, and release management—you will serve as a pivotal bridge between senior client stakeholders and engineering delivery. This role requires a technical leader who can navigate complex B2B and B2C dynamics within Financial Services, oversee dual-operating models (SAFe Agile + AI-driven Squads), and lead an immediate upskilling initiative across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Team Transformation: Lead, mentor, and upskill a 70+ Salesforce capability. Champion team cross-skilling and continuous capability development to align with future account growth.
  • Stakeholder & Client Engagement: Serve as a Trusted Advisor to group-level executives, product owners, and senior leadership. Translate business strategies into seamless technical execution plans.
  • Delivery & Governance: Oversee delivery across a split operating model—balancing SAFe Agile program increment releases with dedicated AI-driven development squads.
  • Technical Strategy & Modernization: Guide architecture transitions, including modernizing customer-facing applications (moving toward React front-ends) and scaling the use of Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
  • AI Tooling Adoption: Drive the strategic adoption and integration of AI coding and development tools (e.g., Claude) across squad environments.

Key Requirements

Experience & Track Record:

  • Proven senior leadership background (VP / Executive level) managing large-scale Salesforce capabilities or delivery units.
  • 15–20+ years of total IT experience, with 8–10+ years specifically dedicated to leading large-scale Salesforce implementations in the UK market.
  • Proven track record of managing large enterprise delivery accounts in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services.

Domain & Technical Expertise:

  • Financial Services Domain: Strong Financial Services or Wealth Management background is essential. Deep understanding of advisor-to-partner (B2B) and partner-to-client (B2C) operational models.
  • Salesforce Ecosystem: Comprehensive understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, with primary expertise in Financial Services Cloud (FSC) (Marketing Cloud experience is a plus).
  • Agile & AI Leadership: Hands-on expertise with SAFe Agile frameworks and practical awareness/advocacy of AI development toolsets (e.g., Claude).
  • Modern Technology: Exposure to React or modern front-end integrations with Salesforce back-ends.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Salesforce Certified Application / System Architect or Technical Architect (CTA)

What We Offer:

  • Impact at Scale: Opportunity to lead transformational projects for premier global financial institutions.
  • Innovation-First Culture: Direct exposure and involvement in driving cutting-edge AI development tooling.
  • Competitive Compensation: Executive-level compensation package aligned with performance and experience.
