We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to join our team and provide strategic technical leadership in the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions. The Salesforce Architect will be responsible for aligning Salesforce capabilities with business objectives, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and optimised for long-term success. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, solution design skills, and stakeholder management to deliver transformative Salesforce initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the overall Salesforce solution architecture, ensuring alignment with business strategy and IT standards.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and high-performing Salesforce solutions.
- Design end-to-end architecture across Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing Cloud and Financial Services Cloud) and integrations with external systems through MuleSoft (MuleSoft experience not required but general Integration architecture knowledge is expected).
- Provide guidance to architects, developers, consultants, and business analysts on Salesforce best practices and patterns.
- Review and validate technical designs to ensure quality, security, and performance.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Partner with business leaders, product owners, and project managers to define requirements and prioritise deliverables.
- Act as the trusted advisor for Salesforce technology, providing recommendations and roadmaps for platform evolution.
- Establish and enforce Salesforce development standards, guidelines, and frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce security standards, GDPR, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Define release management, DevOps, and CI/CD processes for Salesforce delivery.
- Lead integration architecture design between Salesforce and enterprise systems.
- Define data models, sharing rules, and data migration strategies.
- Oversee performance tuning and data governance practices.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in IT, with 8+ years in Salesforce solution design and architecture.
- Proven track record as a Salesforce Architect or Senior Technical Lead on large-scale, complex implementations.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, including Apex, Lightning Web Components and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Mobile Publisher).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, data architecture, and integration patterns.
Certifications
- Must have:
- Salesforce Certified Application and System Architect
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant
- Any other Salesforce Architect certification
- Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional
- Other Salesforce certifications
