Workday Core HCM Configuration SME (In-House)
Location: London | Hybrid
Package: Up to Β£100k + bonus + super strong benefits
The role:
This is a hands-on Workday configuration hire to strengthen an in-house Workday team. The focus is technical depth, not coordination. You will work directly in the Workday tenant to configure Core HCM, business processes, security, and core setup, while challenging requirements and landing clean solutions.
To Do:
- Configure and optimise Core HCM and Workday foundations (core setup, structures, process standards)
- Build and improve business processes (hire/change/terminate and related workflows)
- Own and implement Workday security (roles, approvals, BP security/access)
- Interpret requirements critically, assess impacts, and implement best-practice configuration
- Support growth into additional modules over time, especially Talent + Recruitment (Learning/Absence a plus)
Must have:
- Strong hands-on Workday configuration experience
- Deep Core HCM capability
- Strong Workday Security experience tied to business processes and approvals
- Ability to challenge stakeholders and translate needs into clean tenant configuration
Nice to have:
- Strong experience in Talent + Recruitment
- Exposure to Learning & Development and/or Absence
- Prior in-house Workday team experience
