Enterprise HR Tech Architect & Engagement Lead Permanent | London-Hybrid | ÂŁ80-85 k + bonus & benefits
This role will suit a HR architect who can occupy the “sweet spot” between specialist solution engineers and high-level programme directors—owning vendor-ecosystem strategy, enterprise design and hands-on delivery leadership in one package. You will own the full life-cycle of complex, multi-vendor HR-technology consulting programmes and unlock surge-capacity for the Director of Innovation & AI by owning end-to-end delivery on complex HR-technology strategy programmes.
Translate GenAI buzz into board-approved architecture and measurable business value, then drive the programme end-to-end. Prototype → Prove → Productise Gen-AI use-cases inside client HR stacks. Navigate the crowded AI vendor landscape with impartial authority. Lock AI outcomes to business KPIs, satisfying both CHROs and CFOs.
ROLE PROFILE:
- Architect & Advise: Shape enterprise-wide HR operating models and solution blueprints that stitch together Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow HRSD, UKG Pro, ADP, Ceridian Dayforce, Cornerstone OnDemand, BambooHR, and other point solutions.
- Lead & Deliver: Deploy at pace as hands-on engagement lead—steering discovery, design, and value-realisation while freeing senior leadership to scale the practice.
- Stay Vendor-Agnostic: Evaluate ecosystems objectively; recommend best-of-suite vs. best-of-breed stacks aligned to client KPIs.
- Influence the Board: Translate technical trade-offs into C-suite decisions that land funding and momentum. Map vendor inter-dependencies and integration touch-points; recommend fit-for-purpose architectures that balance best-of-suite and best-of-breed options. Translate board-level objectives into pragmatic reference architectures and delivery roadmaps.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Hands-on understanding of the HR-tech vendor ecosystem—able to articulate strengths, weaknesses and integration patterns across Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Salesforce HR/EX clouds and complementary point solutions.
- Shaping and delivering HRIS / People-Tech transformations across FTSE-350 or equivalent.
- Experience productising advisory toolkits / accelerators.
- End-to-end HR-operating-model design, tech rationalisation, change & adoption, EX analytics.
- Cloud-HR vendor selection, payroll consolidation, HR-service digitalisation, AI-readiness road-maps.
