This role will suit a Technology Business Continuity Architect/Technical design lead, to design and build a resilient technology ecosystem that can withstand major disruptions. This is a highly technical and strategic role where you will act as a subject matter expert, embedding a “resilience-first” mindset across our on-premise, cloud, and SaaS environments.
What You’ll Do
- Design Resilient Systems: Architect and implement robust technology solutions that can handle severe events like cyber-attacks, infrastructure failures, and third-party outages.
- Assessing and strengthening the resilience of third-party suppliers for critical services.
- Collaborate with testing teams to validate resilience capabilities and use data-driven insights to identify and fix vulnerabilities.
- Work with enterprise architects, developers, and senior stakeholders to champion resilience best practices and ensure our critical services are protected.
- Interpret and apply operational resilience regulations to ensure our technology meets all requirements.
What You’ll Need
- Deep Technical Expertise: Extensive experience with modern infrastructure, cloud platforms (IaaS/SaaS), application deployment, and network architecture (including zero-trust models).
- Resilience Experience: Proven track record of applying technology resilience principles in complex, hybrid environments.
- CI/CD Pipelining: Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), DevSecOps, and observability frameworks like Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of the operational resilience regulatory landscape (e.g., DORA, FCA, PRA).
- Data and Communication Skills: Ability to use data to drive decisions and communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
