Technology Capability Lead – Governance Platforms
London | Hybrid
This role will suit a senior technologist to own and evolve the technology platforms that support governance, risk, compliance and audit functions within a complex, regulated environment. This is not a programme or advisory role. We are looking for someone who has built, owned or led governance platforms end-to-end, and can define how these systems evolve over time.
You will take ownership of a critical platform estate and shape how governance functions operate through technology, in an environment where there is strong appetite for modernisation, automation and data-led decision making.
Responsibilities
- Own the technology estate supporting governance and control functions
- Define platform strategy, roadmap and architecture
- Design and evolve systems used for risk, compliance, audit and legal workflows
- Lead platform consolidation, integration and modernisation
- Drive automation, data integration and AI-enabled capabilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into system design
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with governance platforms (e.g. ServiceNow IRM, MetricStream, Archer, SAP GRC or similar)
- Proven ownership of platform roadmap, architecture or product direction
- Background in platform engineering, architecture or product ownership
- Experience working with risk, compliance, audit or governance functions
- Ability to design systems, not just deliver projects
Not a fit
- Not an internal audit or risk oversight position
