A front‑office investment platform leader to own Charles River / CRD or an equivalent OMS/PMS migration, ideally from legacy/on‑prem to SaaS, across Equities and Fixed Income, with accountability for roadmap, prioritisation, data/integration, vendor governance, controls, front‑office adoption and production go‑live.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader who’s navigated complex investment platform transformations, ideally involving an OMS/PMS like Charles River. You will need both strategic vision and hands‑on execution experience someone who’s owned a product roadmap, made prioritisation trade‑offs, and managed budgets and teams.
Have direct experience with SaaS migration, investment workflows (particularly equities and fixed income), stakeholder management across front‑office teams, and a strong grasp of data, integration, and controls in a regulated environment. In short, a product and platform owner with deep front‑office investment domain expertise and transformational SaaS experience.
You will have proven experience handling ambiguity by establishing a rigorous discovery and de‑customization framework. Engage deeply with key stakeholders portfolio managers, traders, compliance to map the critical workflows that actually deliver business value and conduct a detailed fit‑gap analysis between the current customizations and standard CRD SaaS capabilities.
ROLE
- Own the strategic roadmap for migrating from legacy platforms to a SaaS‑based investment platform.
- Lead prioritisation of workstreams across portfolio construction, trading, compliance, and integration workflows.
- Manage budget, headcount, and third‑party contributions, ensuring business value delivery.
- Engage closely with portfolio managers, traders, and researchers to ensure platform solutions meet front‑office needs.
- Define architecture, data models, and integration patterns, ensuring scalable, well‑controlled delivery.
- Drive adoption of standardized processes while balancing stakeholder flexibility.
- Demonstrated experience in leading an investment platform or OMS/PMS transformation (e.g., Charles River or similar).
- Strong track record in SaaS migration, data integration, and managing complex, regulated environments.
