Role Summary:
The Data Head/Lead will spearhead the design and execution of a comprehensive data strategy across pivotal business areas. Your leadership will guide a team of analysts across data domains, emphasizing the Investment Data . Collaborating with architects and stakeholders, you will ensure that data management aligns with business strategy and regulatory compliance while paving the way for innovative solutions using technologies like Finbourne and Snowflake .
Core Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Direct the Business and Data Analyst teams focusing on strategic data management.
- Expertise: Be the linchpin in designing, developing, and managing various data domains with a pivotal focus on Investment Data.
- Strategy & Innovation: Leverage insights from competitive and industry benchmarks to drive the development and strategic direction of the Data Platform.
- Collaboration: Engage stakeholders across diverse groups to drive changes towards industry standardization and simplification.
- Operational Design: Work with business stakeholders and the TOM (Target Operating Model) workstream to devise and implement a model that encapsulates scalable, efficient operations.
- Technical Alignment: Ensure successful connectivity and strategic alignment within specialized Data Program units, involving technologies like Snowflake and Finbourne .
Key Requirements:
- Technical Mastery: Proficient in using data management technologies, especially Snowflake and Finbourne , to drive data strategy and compliance.
- Strategic Business Analysis: Extensive experience in front-to-back Asset Management workflows, with exposure to Model-Based Investing strategies and various asset classes.
- Model Design & Implementation: Proven track record in designing and implementing Target Operating Models in a data context, ensuring alignment with business strategy and compliance.
- Regulatory Adherence: Solid grounding in adhering to and navigating through the regulatory landscape of the financial sector.
- Leadership & Influence: Strong leadership with the capability to influence senior management and drive team productivity and alignment.
- Global Experience: Expertise in managing global teams and driving international projects will be a significant advantage.
