This is a senior technology leadership role with a global privately held financial services organisation, focused on modernising the technology estate that supports key governance and control functions. A platform ownership and technology capability leadership role, not a traditional programme management position.
You will own and shape the future technology model across Risk, Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal / Tax, with a clear mandate to simplify, rationalise and modernise the estate. This is a high-visibility role, partnering with senior stakeholders across Technology, Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal, Tax, Data and Security.
This role will suit a senior technology leader who has owned enterprise platforms in a regulated environment and can operate credibly at Director level. The client is looking for a core systems technologist, someone who can understand the estate, challenge duplication, define the roadmap and act as a trusted technology advisor to senior control-function leaders.
The MandateImprove a complex control-function technology landscape, including:
- Multiple tools across Risk, Compliance, Audit, Legal and Tax
- Duplicate platform capabilities
- Manual workflows and inefficient processes
- Data inconsistencies across reporting and controls
