A leading Global FS organisation is hiring a Head of Lean Portfolio Management leader to own how technology investment is funded, governed and measured. This is a rare mandate to move the organisation from project budgets towards value-stream and outcome-based funding, and to bring AI-enabled insight into portfolio decision-making.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Move the organisation from project-based budgets towards value-stream and lean funding within guardrails.
- Own portfolio-level investment planning, capital allocation, prioritisation and benefits realisation.
- Build cost transparency across the technology estate and bring AI-enabled insight to demand, prioritisation and reporting.
- Establish lightweight, outcome-led governance measured by flow, value and OKRs rather than stage gates.
- Partner with COO, CIO and CFO stakeholders to connect strategy, funding and delivery.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Proven Lean Portfolio Management at enterprise scale, including moving an organisation from project to value-stream funding.
- Strong financial command: capital allocation, agile funding, FinOps or IT financial management, and value management.
- Experience in a large, regulated financial services environment, and fluency in a platform and product operating model.
- Exposure to AI-enabled change and portfolio tooling such as Jira Align, Clarity, Planview or Apptio is a strong advantage.
- Credibility with executive and board stakeholders; SAFe (LPM or SPC) is desirable.
