We are currently looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our growing team in Middlesbrough with an immediate start available, where you will be reporting to the Workshop Manager. The candidate must be motivated and hardworking and must have a willingness to learn and adapt. They must also be willing to travel to various client sites across the UK.
Role and Responsibilities- Ability to work within a team/on own to fabricate jobs
- Proven experience working with Stainless Steel, and Aluminium
- Ability to read and fabricate from engineering drawing
- Time Served Apprenticeship
- A full UK driver’s license (preferred)
- Experience working within the food manufacturing industry (preferred)
- Skills for interpreting mechanical drawings, documentation and data
- Various safety qualifications such as CSCS Card / site safety passport / MEWP / IPAF / SSSTS are desirable
- 2 years knowledge and working experience of Press Brake, Guillotine, Bending Rolls and typical workshop plant and equipment (preferred)
- TIG welding
Full time – 37.5 hours per week, with overtime available in Middlesbrough and nationwide.
