Intelect are an award winning electrical and mechanical engineering company with bases in Middlesbrough, Leicester and Grimsby, predominantly servicing process industries such as food and beverage manufacturing, utilities, heavy industry and renewables. We are currently looking for an experienced Pipefitters/Welders to join our growing team in Middlesbrough. The candidates must be motivated and hardworking and must have a willingness to learn and adapt. The work will be a full time, fixed-term contract for works on a large project local to Teesside.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Ability to work within a team/on own to fabricate jobs
- Proven experience working with Stainless Steel and Mild Steel
- Ability to read and fabricate from engineering drawing
We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:
- Time Served Apprenticeship or equivalent certification required
- A full UK driver’s license advantageous
- Skills for interpreting mechanical drawings, documentation and data
- Various safety qualifications such as CSCS Card / site safety passport / MEWP / IPAF / SSSTS are desirable
Working Hours:
Full time 37.5 hours per week, with regular overtime available at a higher rate. Subcontractors may apply.
