We are looking for experienced and reliable Machinery Movers / Rigging Specialists to join our team on a fixed-term 12-month project based in Darlington in the North East. The role will involve the movement, installation, positioning, and alignment of industrial machinery and equipment across a new process site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lift and shift of industrial machinery and equipment
  • Machinery positioning and relocation
  • Marking out equipment locations and layouts
  • Line and levelling of machinery and production equipment
  • Safe use of rigging and lifting equipment
  • Working from site drawings and specifications
  • Assisting with installation and decommissioning works
  • Maintaining high health and safety standards on site
  • Liaising with supervisors, site managers and clients

We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:

  • Previous project experience in machinery moving, rigging, or industrial installation essential
  • Experience with line and levelling equipment essential
  • CSCS/CCNSG card preferred
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Supervisor experience preferred but not essential
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team

Working Hours

10-hour days (weekend overtime available)
