Intelect are an award winning electrical and mechanical engineering company with bases in Middlesbrough, Leicester and Grimsby, predominantly servicing process industries such as food and beverage manufacturing, utilities, heavy industry and renewables. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will support a variety of site operations, carrying out general labouring duties, assisting skilled trades, and ensuring work areas are kept safe and organised.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Carry out general site labouring tasks including lifting, moving, and handling materials.
  • Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with day-to-day tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
  • Operate tools and equipment as instructed.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and site procedures.
  • Report any hazards, incidents, or near misses promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project delivery.
We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:
  • Full, clean driving licence – essential.
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual work.
  • Other qualifications such as First Aid at Work / Manual Handling / IPAF / FLT Licence are advantageous but not essential.
Working Hours:

Full time – 37.5 hours per week, with overtime available at enhanced rates.
