Work Set-Up:Onsite onboarding for 2–4 weeks, followed by a transition to a work-from-home setup.
Work Schedule:Night Shift (Following U.S Time Zone)

Job Description:

  • Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process in Xero
  • Monitoring financial transactions and reports
  • Flagging any unusual or complex transactions to upper management
  • Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements
  • After books are approved, translate the records into the Google Sheets statements provided to each client
  • Export account transaction detail monthly to provide to the client.
  • Ensure payroll journal entries tie and are processed
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax filings
  • Process monthly and bi-monthly payroll and contractor payments, as applicable in Gusto
  • Pull data from multiple sources to add more detailed financial analysis in Google Sheets for clients
  • Help identify 1099 recipients and track payments for year-end 1099's
  • Prepare and help file year-end 1099s

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of bookkeeping/general accounting experience
  • Prior experience with Xero
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  • Experience with Gusto, a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Able to prepare, review and understand a financial statement.
