Intelance is looking for a hands-on Technical SEO & Web Growth Specialist to help improve our website, search visibility, content structure, tracking and conversion engine. We are a UK specialist consultancy working across Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Resilience and AI Governance. This role is for someone who can log into WordPress, work confidently in Elementor, fix technical SEO issues, implement schema, improve page speed, set up analytics and Search Console tracking, support content research, improve service pages, and help turn our expertise into a stronger inbound enquiry engine.

Tasks

  • Improving the technical, content and conversion foundations of the Intelance website.
  • Carrying out technical SEO audits and implementing fixes directly where possible.
  • Setting up and improving Google Search Console, GA4 and conversion tracking.
  • Reviewing crawlability, indexation, sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, broken links, canonical tags and internal links.
  • Implementing and validating schema markup, including Organisation, Service, Article, FAQ, Breadcrumb and Person schema where appropriate.
  • Building and improving WordPress/Elementor service pages, landing pages and article templates.
  • Improving page speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile usability and image optimisation.
  • Improving metadata, headings, page structure, internal links and content formatting.
  • Supporting the creation of high-quality service pages for Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001, AI Governance and Enterprise Architecture.
  • Supporting keyword research, competitor page reviews and search-intent analysis.
  • Creating content briefs and long-form first drafts where needed.
  • Improving conversion copy, page headlines, call-to-action sections, enquiry prompts and FAQ sections.
  • Improving website design polish, readability, spacing, visual hierarchy and mobile layouts.
  • Setting up or improving website forms, lead source tracking and basic CRM/enquiry tracking.
  • Producing simple monthly reports showing what changed, what improved, what still needs fixing and what should be prioritised next.
  • Working directly with the founder to turn expert input into clear, credible and commercially useful website content.

The main outcome is simple: Make Intelance easier to find, easier to trust and easier to enquire with.

Requirements

  • You must be genuinely hands-on. We are not looking for someone who only produces recommendations and then needs other people to do all the implementation.
  • You should have strong experience in:
    • Technical SEO
    • WordPress
    • Elementor
    • Google Search Console
    • GA4
    • Schema markup
    • Page speed optimisation
    • Core Web Vitals
    • Website conversion improvement
    • B2B service-page optimisation
    • Keyword research and search-intent analysis
    • Internal linking and content structure
    • Basic CRM, form tracking or lead source tracking
    • Clear, practical reporting
  • You should also have:
    • Strong written judgement and the ability to improve website copy without making it sound generic.
    • Good design taste and the ability to improve page layout, spacing and readability.
    • Experience working on B2B, consulting, technology, cyber security, SaaS, professional services or compliance websites.
    • The ability to work independently and ship improvements without constant supervision.
    • A practical understanding of how SEO, content, website performance and conversion work together.
    • High attention to detail.
    • The confidence to challenge weak pages, unclear copy, poor structure or unnecessary complexity.

You are probably not the right fit if:

  • Your main experience is social media management.
  • You mainly produce SEO reports but do not implement fixes.
  • You have little or no WordPress/Elementor experience.
  • You rely on generic AI-generated content.
  • You promise quick rankings without understanding the market.
  • You need a developer for every small website change.
  • You do not use Google Search Console regularly.
  • You prefer strategy decks over practical execution.

We care more about proven output than formal qualifications. Please be ready to show examples of technical SEO improvements, WordPress/Elementor pages, schema implementation, conversion improvements or website growth work you have delivered.

Benefits

  • Flexible working arrangement.
  • Remote or hybrid working possible.
  • Direct access to the founder and senior decision-maker.
  • Opportunity to shape the digital growth engine of a specialist UK consultancy.
  • Work across high-value sectors including cyber resilience, AI governance, enterprise architecture and digital transformation.
  • Clear 90-day delivery plan with practical priorities.
  • No corporate bureaucracy.
  • High-trust working style for someone who can execute well.
  • Opportunity for a longer-term engagement if the first 90 days go well.

This is a paid 90 day fractional engagement (2 to 3 days per week) with a 30 day review and rolling monthly continuation thereafter.
