We’re looking for a talented junior or emerging interior designer to help develop a cohesive design scheme for a residential flat renovation in central London. This is a project-based role ideal for someone early in their career or recently graduated, with strong creative instincts, an interest in residential design, and at least 1 year of UK experience, with potential to become a temp-to-perm role.
Scope of Work
- Develop a clear design concept and overall scheme for the flat
- Create mood boards, material palettes, and visual references
- Suggest layouts and spatial ideas (not full architectural drawings)
- Recommend finishes, colours, lighting, and key furniture pieces
- Provide design guidance for contractors during renovation
- Iterate designs based on feedback
Ideal Profile
- Minimum 1 year UK experience or strong graduate portfolio
- Degree/background in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or similar
- Strong visual and conceptual thinking (portfolio is key)
- Confident creating mood boards and presentations
- Basic knowledge of SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, or similar tools
- Good communication and collaborative mindset
- Interest in residential design and practical, buildable ideas
