Opportunity for a Case Manager to develop into an Underwriter position. As a Case Manager / Junior Underwriter, you’ll be at the heart of everything our client does. You’ll handle the day-to-day management of bridging finance applications, making sure clients get the best possible service from start to finish.
You’ll work closely with brokers, underwriters, solicitors, and clients to ensure everything runs without a hitch. We’re looking for someone who can keep things moving, stay on top of the details, and always put the customer first.
Experience required:
- Ideally, you’ll have prior experience as a Case Manager in the bridging finance world or similar, and you know how things work.
- Understanding the process and regulations in bridging finance is a big plus.
The Role:
- Managing Cases: You’ll be responsible for your own portfolio of bridging finance cases, making sure they progress smoothly from the initial inquiry to completion. You’ll keep in touch with everyone involved to ensure the process stays on track.
- Coordinating Communication: Acting as the main point of contact, you’ll be in regular communication with brokers, underwriters, solicitors, and surveyors.
- Ensuring Accuracy: You’ll review and verify client documents, ensuring all the necessary paperwork is accurate, compliant, and complete before underwriting and completion.
- Problem-Solving: If any issues arise during the process, you’ll take the lead in resolving them, ensuring the case stays on track while keeping all parties informed.
- Delivering Great Service: Providing top-notch customer service is key. You’ll keep brokers and clients updated on the progress of their applications and make sure their experience is smooth and stress-free.
- Collect, verify, and manage documentation required for loan applications.
- Conduct preliminary analyses of applicant creditworthiness and property valuations.
- Support Underwriters in preparing and presenting loan cases for approval.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies throughout the underwriting process.
- Organise and manage valuation instructions, inspections, and reports, as well as invoice payments and case file maintenance.
- Perform essential checks, including Land Registry, AML, KYC, and other intelligent checks for new cases.
