We’re supporting a fast-growing specialist lender as they enter a major expansion phase, with ambitious plans to nearly triple their lending over the next few years. Known for their flexible short-term finance solutions—including bridging, development, and refurbishment loans—they’ve built a strong reputation and are now looking to grow their presence in the North East.

They’re on the lookout for a driven Business Development Manager to take the lead on broker engagement and new business generation across the region. You’ll be part of a supportive, agile team, working alongside skilled Relationship Managers who are experts in deal structuring—but now need someone to drive pipeline growth on the ground.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage relationships with mortgage brokers, intermediaries, and property professionals
  • Actively source new business opportunities within your territory
  • Represent the brand in the market through face-to-face meetings and industry events
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless deal progression
Ideal Candidate:
  • Proactive and sales-focused with a passion for business development
  • Experience in specialist lending or intermediary environments (broker or BDE backgrounds considered)

  • Comfortable working independently on the road the majority of the week
