This permanent role offers a competitive salary range of £50,000 to £65,000 and the opportunity to play a pivotal part in ensuring the safety and compliance of our diverse portfolio of residential and mixed-use buildings. As the Head of Building Safety, you will be responsible for guiding our Property Management team, advising senior leadership, and driving continuous improvement in our safety processes and procedures.
Key Highlights:
- Lead the development and implementation of Building Safety Case documentation to ensure full compliance with the Building Safety Act 2022 and Fire Safety (England) Regulations.
- Collaborate with regional Fire Services and regulatory bodies to maintain the highest standards of building safety.
- Empower our Property Management team through training and support, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Preferred Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Act 2021, RRFSO, and supporting guidance.
- Experience in working with, developing, or maintaining Building Safety Cases and Safety Case Reports for high-rise buildings.
- Proven track record of managing health and safety within residential buildings.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to advise senior colleagues and guide key clients.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (or working towards).
- AIPT qualified.
- Proficient in using Microsoft products and experience with Qube (preferred but not essential).
- Financial acumen and the ability to produce detailed reports and maintain accurate records.
