Bridging Underwriter | Central London Our client is is a rapidly growing bridging lender delivering honest, highly competitive bridging loans at a speed that cannot be beaten. Valued for its market-leading products, personal approach and fast service, our client provides specialist property loans of up to £5million+ secured against properties. Experience required: You will have prior experience in loan underwriting within bridging or development finance. You’ll have the ability to build great rapport and establish strong working relationships with colleagues / brokers / solicitors / customers. Strong communication skills are a must as you’ll be required to give credible reasoning for considering / declining deals. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel & IT literate with a good ability to adapt to new systems and platforms. The Bridging Underwriter will be responsible for: Reviewing funding applications and proceed through the underwriting process to loan completion. Carry out credit / fraud checks. Instruct valuation reports / solicitors. Administer live cases through to redemption of the loan. Liaise with lawyers, surveyors, brokers and borrowers to ensure the loan and due diligence process progresses smoothly. Conduct post-completion communication with borrowers to ensure their project is progressing satisfactorily.
