Our client, a well-established and growing investment advisory firm, is looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team. This organisation is dedicated to delivering tailored investment solutions and exceptional client service. This role involves assessing client portfolios, providing regulated guidance on pension transfers, bond surrenders, investment taxation, and structure suitability. As a Paraplanner reporting to the team lead, you will formulate asset allocation recommendations and draft suitability reports to support client investment strategies.

Duties:

  • Assess client financial objectives, portfolio composition, time horizon, cash flow needs, and overall financial standing to determine suitable investment recommendations.
  • Analyse and develop solutions for clients with complex financial situations.
  • Evaluate existing pension and investment bond structures to determine the feasibility of transfers.
  • Design and deliver training initiatives for internal teams as required.
  • Engage in ad hoc projects aimed at improving operational efficiency.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance concerning the provision of investment guidance.

Your Qualifications:

  • Level 4 Qualification – DipFA, DipPFS or IAD (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Deep understanding of investment principles and financial planning strategies.
  • Expertise in client suitability assessments.
