We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and growing business based in Spalding. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-paced environment. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of refrigeration, mechanical, and electrical equipment, ensuring optimal plant performance at all times. You will play a key role in supporting operations by monitoring plant services, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in line with company systems and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of the Maintenance team to support operational performance
- Carry out all tasks with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency
- Deliver a reliability-centred maintenance function, including preventative maintenance
- Take a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and close out work using the CMMS system
- Diagnose and resolve day-to-day equipment and system faults effectively
- Participate in an on-call rota as required
