What will you do?
- Play and test games, finding linguistic bugs and reporting them via the bug database.
- Work full time, Monday–Friday, on a day shift from 9:00 am, onsite in the office.
- Ensure games and applications are linguistic‑bug‑free and meet cultural rules.
- Follow the Universally Speaking LQA process and professional standards.
- Create and execute test cases throughout the project lifecycle.
- Cooperate with the QA team and support localisation QA testing.
- Proactively suggest improvements and manage bug resolution.
Measures of Performance
- Quality, velocity, and precision of bug reports.
- On‑time delivery.
- Team working and communication.
- Continuous improvement and knowledge of LQA workflow.
Requirements – what you need
- Native French speaker with proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Passionate about video games, team player, able to work under pressure within tight deadlines.
- Detail‑oriented with strong focus on quality.
- Good computer skills (MS Office suite).
- Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
Desired but not required
- Previous LQA, translation or proofreading experience.
- Experience with LQA testing tools (test case management, text editing).
- Knowledge of CAT tools such as MemoQ.
- Knowledge of the video‑game industry and trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in linguistics (preferred).
