SIGN ON BONUS – FT $1,500, PT $750

Salary based on experience (excluding shift differentials): $18.00 – $22.09/hr.

Linda Manor Assisted Living, established in 2014, provides senior housing with traditional assisted living and memory care options. It shares a campus with Linda Manor Extended Care, serving the Northampton community since 1989.

Essential Functions

• Understand and support residents according to their individualized care plans.
• Contribute to care planning by providing observations and information about residents\’ needs and preferences.
• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, nail care, shaving, communication, and other needs as required.
• Ensure residents’ comfort, privacy, and dignity during care delivery.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Prepare and serve meals, assist with feeding as needed.
• Document resident events and perform SAMM in accordance with policies.
• Report discrepancies with medication sets and pharmacy records.
• Ensure all prn narcotics are cued and signed off by two staff members; complete SAMM Discrepancy Reports for medication refusals or issues.
• Record all medication requests and effects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification preferred but not required.
• Completion of a PCA/HHA training program meeting the 54-hour requirement from EOEA.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Experience with dementia residents preferred.

Additional Information

Preferred skills include enthusiasm, teamwork, and motivation. Prior experience in assisted living or with dementia residents is advantageous. Certifications such as Home Health Aide or Certified Nurse Assistant are preferred.
