Salary based on experience – $18.00 – $22.09/hr.
Linda Manor Extended Care offers high-quality short-term rehabilitation, compassionate long-term care, and specialized dementia care.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide quality nursing care to residents according to their assessment and care plan, under supervision.
- Deliver quality nursing care in a manner that respects residents\’ rights, dignity, and individuality.
- Respect and acknowledge diversity among residents, families, and staff.
- Follow the individualized care plan and support residents accordingly.
- Participate in QAPI processes or identify areas for development.
- Assist with daily care tasks such as hygiene, mobility, and nutrition as per care requirements.
- Maintain resident rights and confidentiality.
- Document all ADLs in the electronic health record accurately.
- Observe and report any changes in residents\’ conditions promptly.
- Turn and position residents as required.
- Report any incidents, abuse, or violations of residents\’ rights immediately.
- Respect residents\’ right to refuse care and report refusals.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Respond promptly to call bells and check on residents unable to call for help.
- Record vital signs, intake/output, and other measurements in the EHR.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers using proper equipment and techniques.
- Operate equipment safely and report any issues.
- Interact effectively and tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
- Assist residents with appointments and activities as needed.
