Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (8+yrs PQE) to join our team and lead our new office soon to open in the West Midlands. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in handling a variety of private client matters, including wills, trusts, probate, and tax planning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in an area undergoing extensive regeneration, a growing client base and career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and advising on wills, trusts, and estate planning documents.
- Managing the administration of estates and probate matters.
- Providing strategic advice on inheritance tax and succession planning.
- Handling powers of attorney and Court of Protection applications.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Conducting legal research and staying updated on changes in relevant legislation.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Representing clients in negotiations and legal proceedings when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Solicitor with a current Practising Certificate.
