The Opportunity
An established and forward-thinking multi-academy trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join its central finance team.
This is a newly created role where you will provide professional finance business partnering to multiple schools within the trust, working closely with Head Teachers and senior leaders. You\'ll play a critical role in producing and presenting monthly accounts, variance analysis, and providing financial insight that supports strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate monthly management accounts, reports, and analysis.
Partner with Head Teachers and senior leaders to provide financial insight and advice.
Support strategic decision-making and ensure effective budget management.
Lead on variance analysis and forecasting.
Contribute to the continued improvement of financial processes and systems.
About You
We are looking for a finance professional who is:
Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.
Experienced in management accounts, financial analysis, and business partnering.
Strong communicator with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Self-motivated, proactive, and confident in supporting senior stakeholders.
Able to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
Experience within education or the public/not-for-profit sector is desirable but not essential.
