Finance Manager

Location: Wiltshire (Head Office – Hybrid Working)
Salary: ££55,000 (DOE)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

The Opportunity

An established and forward-thinking multi-academy trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join its central finance team.

This is a newly created role where you will provide professional finance business partnering to multiple schools within the trust, working closely with Head Teachers and senior leaders. You\’ll play a critical role in producing and presenting monthly accounts, variance analysis, and providing financial insight that supports strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate monthly management accounts, reports, and analysis.

  • Partner with Head Teachers and senior leaders to provide financial insight and advice.

  • Support strategic decision-making and ensure effective budget management.

  • Lead on variance analysis and forecasting.

  • Contribute to the continued improvement of financial processes and systems.

About You

We are looking for a finance professional who is:

  • Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience.

  • Experienced in management accounts, financial analysis, and business partnering.

  • Strong communicator with the ability to present complex information clearly.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and confident in supporting senior stakeholders.

  • Able to work independently while being a collaborative team player.

Experience within education or the public/not-for-profit sector is desirable but not essential.
