Who We Are: IWS Water Hygiene (WH) is a division of South Staffordshire Plc. We provide services in all aspects of water hygiene and legionella control, including risk assessments for the public sector, utility companies, industrial, commercial and retail customers. IWS Water Hygiene is a successful, growing company looking for talented employees who want to work in a challenging and rewarding environment.
The Role: You will need to be able to hit the ground running for the site-based delivery of a range of water hygiene related services in accordance with current legislation and your UK Water Regulations accreditation, which you will be reporting back to the local Operations Manager. The role requires flexibility; you will be responsible for the organisation of your own workloads daily, and you should be able to work efficiently on your own initiative. This is a manual job which involves driving a works vehicle with some lifting, stretching and bending, and working in accordance with industry-leading best‑practice Health & Safety specifications. A formal qualification in the Control of Legionella is essential. The position requires the successful candidate to be flexible, work on their own initiative and be confident in front of the client. Previous experience of working within L8 guidance and Cleaning & Disinfection of hot and cold-water systems is essential.
