A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within Integrated Utility Services, and we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to drive further growth, predominately in our Frameworks workstream area. This role can be based around the Stockton or Wakefield area.

As Operations Manager, you will contribute to senior operational responsibilities for the performance, efficiency, and strategic delivery of our Frameworks workstreams. You will also be expected to strive to exceed business plan targets, drive continuous improvements, operational efficiencies, colleague development, and safety and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide workstream-specific knowledge and expertise to the operations leadership team and the wider business to ensure that future work opportunities are achieved, risks are identified, mitigated and operational excellence and optimised workstream delivery efficiencies are achieved.
- Deliver continuous improvement in the delivery of frameworks, therefore, ensuring the team manage and pro-actively mitigate risks to contractual performance and delivery through effective framework, contract and commercial management.
- Achieve industry-leading workstream delivery to time, cost, budget, quality, safety and customer service standards utilizing technical and industrial resources and contractor service providers.
- Drive achievement of all operational, external stakeholder and customer service standards, working in collaboration across all workstream areas where needed.
- Drive proactive management and improvement plans when standards and/or customer satisfaction is not achieved.
- Deliver against productivity and safety targets.
- Lead and monitor financial, operational and commercial performance.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Effective planning and organisation skills.
- Good communicator with the ability to interpret information.
- Great Commercial reporting and forecasting knowledge.
Qualifications and Attributes
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- HNC in engineering or construction and/or experience in contract/framework management
- Experience managing complex HV/EHV electrical project or frameworks
- Experience in Project Management
- Experience with Customer/Client management
- IOSH Managing Safety
- Full UK driving license
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Construction
- NEBOSH Certificate
- Chartered Engineer
- Experience of business stream management
