Integrated Service Solutions Ltd (ISS) is a leading service provider in the UK Fresh Produce sector. Since 2014, we’ve grown rapidly and now operate four sites across Kent, our newest being our brand new site at Bridge. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support the safe and efficient running of our site and equipment.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and continuous improvement of machinery, equipment and site facilities. You’ll play a key role in minimising downtime, maintaining compliance, and ensuring operations run safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver preventative maintenance and respond to breakdowns to keep operations running efficiently.
  • Diagnose and repair electro/mechanical machinery and production equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, in line with H&S regulations and company procedures.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records, complete documentation and support audit requirements.
  • Carry out general site and building maintenance, including contractor coordination where required.
  • Support training of production teams and promote safe, effective equipment use.

What You’ll Bring

  • Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent) and 17th Edition electrical qualification.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance role within a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Experience maintaining machinery, equipment and site facilities.
  • Knowledge of COSHH/CDM (F‑Gas desirable).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and a hands‑on approach.
  • IT literacy and ability to maintain accurate records.
