About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer or Electrical Design Engineering Manager to lead a small but highly capable design and manufacturing operation within one of our specialist subsidiaries. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who wants to retain a lead in innovative electrical and electromechanical design while also eager to mentor and develop a small engineering and support team. You will play a key part in shaping the technical roadmap of the business, overseeing product development from concept through to manufacture, and ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality, compliant and commercially successful products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a small team of electrical and electromechanical engineers.
  • Take full ownership of product design lifecycle, from concept generation to detailed design and documentation.
  • Design electrical and electromechanical products to industry standards, ensuring safety, reliability and manufacturability.
